Terms of Service

Last Updated: September 18, 2026

Welcome to TransCity LLC (“TransCity,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Service govern your use of the TransCity website and transportation services in Connecticut, New York, and New Jersey.

By using our website, requesting a quote, or booking a ride, you agree to these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and any applicable booking, cancellation, refund, or payment terms presented during checkout.

RESERVATIONS

Reservations may be requested online or by phone. To make a reservation, you must provide accurate information, including your name, phone number, email address, pickup location, destination, date, time, passenger information, and any other information necessary to arrange the service.

A reservation is not confirmed until TransCity accepts the request and provides confirmation. TransCity may contact you to verify booking details or request additional information.

FARES AND PAYMENT

You agree to pay the fare shown in your quote, booking confirmation, or checkout screen, including applicable mileage charges, waiting-time charges, tolls, taxes, tips, surcharges, or additional services.

Depending on the reservation, payment may be processed through Square, Zelle, Venmo, cash, or another payment method made available by TransCity. Certain reservations may require full or partial payment, a deposit, or a credit-card authorization to secure the booking.

You authorize TransCity and its payment providers to process the applicable amount using the payment method selected during booking.

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS

Cancellation and refund terms may vary depending on the reservation, payment method, time of cancellation, and service requested.

Unless a different written policy applies, confirmed and paid bookings may include a non-refundable administrative fee of $50. Any remaining refund amount will be determined according to the applicable cancellation and refund policy.

Customers should contact TransCity as soon as possible to request a cancellation, change, or refund.

PICKUP AND CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES

Customers are responsible for providing accurate pickup information and being ready at the scheduled pickup time.

Customers should allow sufficient time for traffic, weather, airport procedures, luggage, security, and other conditions that may affect the trip.

If a customer is unavailable at the pickup location or provides incorrect information, additional waiting-time charges or cancellation charges may apply.

PASSENGER CONDUCT AND VEHICLE CARE

For the safety and comfort of all passengers and chauffeurs:

TransCity may end a trip without refund if a passenger creates a safety risk, damages the vehicle, violates these Terms, or engages in unlawful or abusive conduct.

FLIGHT INFORMATION AND TRAVEL DELAYS

For airport transportation, TransCity may use the flight number and related travel information provided by the customer to monitor flight status and coordinate pickup times.

TransCity is not responsible for delays caused by severe weather, traffic, accidents, road closures, airport conditions, airline delays, security procedures, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Customers should schedule pickups with sufficient time for traffic, airport procedures, and unexpected delays.

SERVICE AVAILABILITY

TransCity will make reasonable efforts to provide the requested transportation service. However, service availability may be affected by vehicle availability, staffing, weather, traffic, mechanical problems, emergencies, or other circumstances beyond our control.

If TransCity cannot provide a confirmed service, we will make reasonable efforts to contact the customer and, when appropriate, offer an alternative arrangement or refund according to the applicable policy.

SMS NOTIFICATIONS AND CUSTOMER COMMUNICATIONS

TransCity may send non-marketing SMS messages related to a customer’s transportation reservation or customer-service request.

These messages may include:

Customers receive SMS messages only after entering their phone number during the booking process and separately checking the optional SMS consent checkbox on the TransCity booking form.

SMS consent is optional and is not required to purchase or book transportation services.

Message frequency varies depending on reservations and service activity. Message and data rates may apply.

TransCity does not sell, rent, or share customer phone numbers or SMS consent information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

You may withdraw your consent at any time by replying STOP to a TransCity text message. For help, reply HELP or contact TransCity at (203) 543-0589 or transcitynorwalk@gmail.com.

You confirm that you control or are authorized to use the phone number provided during booking. You must not provide another person’s phone number for SMS notifications without that person’s permission.

SMS delivery is not guaranteed and may be affected by carrier coverage, network availability, device settings, or other technical conditions.

TransCity does not sell, rent, or share customer phone numbers or SMS consent information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
